David Little

David E. Little brings extensive experience to each case he handles at Wildlife Lawyers. As a wildlife attorney in Colorado, he relies on his extensive military experience to provide high-quality legal representation. In 1991, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps and served on active duty from 1993 to 1996. As a Marine Judge Advocate, he defended more than 100 Marines before courts-martial and administrative discharge hearings. In 1996, Attorney Little returned to Austin and joined the firm of Brown McCarroll & Oaks Hartline, L.L.P. There his practice focused primarily on handling cases involving medical malpractice, products liability, insurance defense, and toxic torts.

In 2000, he joined Germer Gertz Beaman & Brown, L.L.P. and became a partner with the firm in 2002. He maintains a general civil litigation practice, focusing on medical malpractice, construction law, and employment litigation defense. His trial experience includes both civil and criminal matters, and he has participated in the defense of major products liability, commercial litigation, and toxic tort cases throughout the state of Texas.

In 2005, Attorney Little was recalled to active duty in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and was deployed to Iraq with the 2d Marine Division in western Al Anbar province. After being released from active duty, he returned to full-time legal practice. He remains in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, and was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in 2006. For his commitment to pursuing legal excellence, he was honored with inclusion on the Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Starsâ„  list in 2006 and 2007.
