Ken Martin
Attorney Ken Martin brings a wealth of criminal defense and military justice
to Wildlife Lawyers. Before running his own private practice, Attorney
Martin served at U.S. Marine Corps headquarters in Washington D.C., where
he was ordered to the Pentagon as the USMC representative to the Tiger
team working to prosecute terrorists held in Cuba. From 1986 to 1988,
he worked as a prosecutor and law office head in Cuba. He prosecuted the
cases that the movie “A Few Good Men” was based on. He was
portrayed by the actor Kevin Bacon in the film. Attorney Martin’s
military justice career took him to Okinawa, Japan, where he tried criminal
cases as a circuit military judge. He was also a circuit military judge
in California and Arizona, trying criminal cases in the busiest judicial
circuit on the Department of Defense
Recipient of the 2007 Florida Bar Leadership Award, Attorney Martin has
also been an assistant professor at the University of Mississippi, where
he taught classes in the school of liberal arts and was Marine Officer
Instructor at the Naval Reserve Officer Training Unit. Additional highlights
in his career include working as a trial judge, senior prosecutor, senior
defense counsel, and defense attorney in California and Arizona. His well-rounded
legal experience allows him to provide strategic legal representation
and hard-hitting criminal defense in court. As a Colorado wildlife attorney,
